Welcome 2016, let's see what's coming up! #RPBP #ASMSG

Happy New Year

2015 was an amazing year for my books and the support network we have created at Rukia Publishing and that is thanks to the readers and authors who support Indie authors like myself. The philosophy of paying it forward and promoting each other as authors is paying dividends as our reach and exposure continues to grow in new directions every day. Readers are increasingly interacting with authors by writing reviews and offering feedback on cover art, etc., and there is an increase in referrals to book clubs which is always useful, especially to debut authors.

In 2015 my new release 'Ooh Matron' made the Read Freely Top 50 Best Indie Books of 2015 and also received an award for excellence and a stunning review from ardent Indie author supporter Christoph Fischer.

Many of my author friends also had new releases, award and best seller success in 2015 and the group ASMSG played a big part in those achievements. So how will Indie authors get on in 2016? I am really excited for 2016, the need to increase exposure worldwide in a variety of formats has never been more important. Personally, I am following and introducing the concept of 'globile' a word, which I was first introduced to by another passionate Indie author supporter and extremely knowledgeable author, Mark Williams, who you can find in The International Indie Author Facebook Group. He shares the opportunities and vision for the future with ideas and actions which we can all achieve.
The feedback from readers who get involved with authors at Rukia Publishing, a key factor in the success of an Indie author, is that one of the main reasons they read, review and support us is that they can get involved and get to know us, something which is unachievable with most traditionally published authors. This is where social media and mailings lists to maintain that contact and interaction are so valuable.

So 2016 here we come, watch out we are a formidable bunch!

Keep reading, writing, reviewing and supporting Indie authors.

Wishing you a happy, healthy and productive 2016.
